Hosting

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested address, browser and operating system in order to deliver the page and protect it against abuse.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is delivering the website securely and quickly.

Vercel may process data in the USA. Transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and additionally on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel.

Audience measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how often the page is visited. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Visits are counted using a hash that changes daily, so you cannot be recognised across days.

Data collected includes the page visited, referring page, country, browser, operating system and device type. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is basic usage statistics.

If you write to me, we process your details to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where it concerns working together, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.

Links to other sites

The page links to LinkedIn, YouTube, Spotify, Amazon Prime Video and Google Maps, among others. Only when you click a link do you leave this website. From then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). A short email to the address above is enough.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
