Hi, I'm Thomas. I help companies get found, on Google and in AI search. I've been doing it since 2012, these days with a team I couldn't do it without.

A little about me.

I got hooked on computers early. The photo is proof, although back then I was probably more interested in the mouse.

I built my first websites for paying clients at 15, and it became my full-time job in 2012. Most of what I know I picked up along the way: by trying things, and now and then by getting them wrong.

Today there are 18 of us at SichtbarerWerden. Very little of what you read on this page would have happened without them.

What I think about most right now: people no longer just search on Google, they ask ChatGPT or Perplexity. How a company shows up in those answers fascinates me, and I'm always happy to talk about it.

How I got here.

  1. at 15

    First clients

    My first websites for real clients, built after school. The first money I ever earned came from the web.

  2. 2012

    Going full-time

    The side project turns into a proper business: websites, SEO and online marketing for small and mid-sized companies.

  3. 2019

    A second business

    With Marco Wölfel, I co-found an online fitness and health coaching company. Knowing what it's like to sit on the client side still shapes how I advise people today.

  4. 2023

    SichtbarerWerden GmbH

    The agency becomes a limited company based in Nürnberg, Germany. A real team instead of a one-man show.

  5. today

    18 people, 450+ companies

    A remote team covering strategy, development, content and ads. I'm very proud of them.
